Abstract Comminution processes are one of the most commonly used in food, chemical, cosmetics, pharmaceutical industry as well part recycling activities. Disc or multi-disc mills play and important role comminution biomaterials cause their high effectiveness throughput. One challenges, which technology has been facing for long time, is decreasing energy consumption increasing To achieve this, complex knowledge about process inside mill should be available. For this reason, in-time monitoring systems characteristics, ensures identification relations between changes parameters example power consumption, size reduction ratio, throughput, specific were applicated to mills.
